Town Beach

This is a small beach in a walking distance from the city centre, so it gets pretty busy in summer.

Town Beach is the closest beach to Pothia, the main town of Kalymnos. As you walk along this picturesque beach you feel the pebbles and sandy bed wraps around your feet. The crystalline waters offer amazing swimming experience. The beach attracts many visitors for its natural beauty and unique characteristics. At the main road of Pothia, right behind the beach main beach are many souvenir shops selling the famous sponges. The town is home to a large variety of nice accommodations and a plethora of modern amenities for all tastes and budgets. The beach is easily accessed on foot from all parts of the town.
